Welcome to Connect Job (connectjob.in). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Connect Job platform, including all services, features, and content provided through our website.
By registering, accessing, or using Connect Job in any manner, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use this platform.
1. About Connect Job
Connect Job is an online communication and listing platform designed exclusively for the restaurant, hotel, cafe, cloud kitchen, and hospitality industry in India. Our platform allows:
- Workers to create profiles, list their skills, and apply for job opportunities
- Employers to post job vacancies, browse worker profiles, and initiate hiring contact
Important: Connect Job is strictly a communication and listing facilitator. We do not directly hire workers, guarantee employment or job placement, act as an employment agency, or become a party to any agreement, contract, or arrangement between workers and employers. All hiring decisions, negotiations, and agreements are made directly between workers and employers.
2. Eligibility and Registration
- You must be at least 18 years of age to register and use Connect Job.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during registration and profile creation. Providing false, misleading, or fabricated information is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension.
- Each individual or business entity may maintain only one active account per user type (Worker or Employer). Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions is prohibited.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity conducted under your account is your sole responsibility.
- Connect Job reserves the right to verify account information and suspend or reject any registration that appears fraudulent, incomplete, or in violation of these Terms.
3. User Obligations — General
All users (Workers and Employers) of Connect Job agree to:
- Use the platform only for its intended purpose of legitimate restaurant and hospitality staffing
- Keep all profile, contact, and account information accurate and up to date at all times
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with all other users on the platform
- Not misuse platform features to spam, harass, or deceive other users
- Independently verify all information before making hiring decisions or accepting job offers
- Immediately report any suspicious, fraudulent, or abusive behaviour using the Contact Us page
- Comply with all applicable laws, labour regulations, and tax obligations in India
4. Worker Responsibilities
Workers who create profiles and apply for jobs on Connect Job agree to:
- Provide an honest, accurate representation of their skills, experience, certifications, and availability
- Keep their profile updated to reflect their current employment status and availability
- Respond to employer enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Not misrepresent qualifications, skills, or experience in any application or profile
- Not engage in any form of dishonest conduct, harassment, or misuse after being hired by an employer
- Understand that Connect Job does not guarantee job placement, interviews, hiring offers, or any form of employment outcome
5. Employer Responsibilities
Employers who post jobs and hire through Connect Job agree to:
- Post only genuine, active job vacancies with accurate information regarding role, location, wage, and working conditions
- Not use job posts to collect personal information for purposes unrelated to legitimate hiring
- Independently verify a candidate's qualifications, work eligibility, and suitability before hiring
- Comply with all applicable labour laws, minimum wage requirements, and employment regulations in India
- Not engage in any form of discrimination, harassment, or deceptive practices towards candidates
- Honour commitments made to candidates to the extent of their own professional obligations
- Understand that Connect Job is not liable for a candidate's conduct, performance, or behaviour after hiring
6. Subscription and Platform Access
- Access to key platform features for Workers and Employers requires an active subscription. Subscription duration and pricing are set by the platform administrator and are subject to change.
- New users may receive a default free-access period as configured by the admin at the time of registration.
- Subscription extensions require manual payment via UPI transfer. You must submit your UPI transaction reference number and a payment screenshot through the platform's payment page for admin review.
- Subscription activation after payment submission may take 24 to 48 business hours from the time of admin review and approval. Connect Job is not liable for any delays caused by incorrect payment details, incomplete submissions, or technical issues.
7. No Refund Policy
All payments made to Connect Job are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances whatsoever.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Unused subscription days remaining at the time of account closure or voluntary cancellation
- Subscription periods during which the user was unable to find a job or hire a candidate
- Payments made in error or duplicate payments
- Accounts suspended or banned due to policy violations
- Dissatisfaction with platform features, search results, or hiring outcomes
By making a payment on Connect Job, you unconditionally accept this no-refund policy. We strongly recommend reviewing all subscription terms before making any payment.
8. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on Connect Job and will result in immediate content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban:
- Posting fake, fraudulent, or misleading job listings, profiles, or personal information
- Using abusive, threatening, offensive, or harassing language in any part of the platform
- Uploading or sharing adult content, sexually explicit material, or obscene imagery
- Spamming other users with unsolicited messages, links, or promotional content
- Posting content that promotes illegal activity, violence, discrimination, or hate speech
- Attempting to collect personal data of other users for purposes outside legitimate hiring
- Circumventing subscription requirements using fraudulent payment submissions
- Impersonating another person, business, or authority on the platform
- Using automated tools, bots, or scraping scripts to access platform data
- Attempting to hack, disrupt, or compromise the security or integrity of the platform
9. Content Moderation and Removal
Connect Job reserves the right — but is not obligated — to review, edit, hide, or permanently remove any content (job posts, profiles, messages, images) that we determine, at our sole discretion, violates these Terms, is harmful, misleading, abusive, or poses a risk to the safety of users or the platform. Content moderation actions may be taken without prior notice to the user.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
Connect Job may suspend, restrict, or permanently ban your account without prior notice in cases including but not limited to:
- Violation of any provision of these Terms and Conditions
- Submission of fake, fraudulent, or forged payment information
- Posting prohibited content or engaging in prohibited conduct
- Repeated reports of harassment, scamming, or misconduct by other users
- Any activity determined to be harmful to users, the platform, or third parties
- Legal investigation or request from authorities
Account suspension or ban does not entitle the user to any refund of subscription payments. Connect Job may also take legal action where applicable for serious violations.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Connect Job, its owners, administrators, and team members shall not be held liable for:
- Any fraud, scam, deception, or financial loss resulting from interactions between workers and employers on or off the platform
- Any salary disputes, payment disagreements, or unpaid wages between employers and workers
- Any employer who rejects, withdraws, or reverses a hiring decision after initial discussions
- Any misconduct, underperformance, theft, or improper behaviour by a worker after being hired
- Any agreements, contracts, or arrangements made between workers and employers outside the platform
- Loss of data, business opportunity, income, or reputation due to platform downtime or technical issues
- Any third-party websites or external services linked from Connect Job
Connect Job's maximum liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.
12. Reporting Abuse, Fraud, and Safety Concerns
If you encounter or are a victim of any of the following on Connect Job, you must report it immediately through the Contact Us page:
- Fake or fraudulent job posts
- Scams, financial fraud, or requests for money outside the platform
- Harassment, threats, or abusive behaviour by another user
- Impersonation or identity fraud
- Any illegal activity or safety concerns
We take all reports seriously and will investigate within a reasonable timeframe. For urgent safety concerns, please contact local law enforcement immediately.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on the Connect Job platform — including the brand name, logo, design, code, text, graphics, and features — is the intellectual property of Connect Job and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any platform content without our prior written consent.
By submitting content (profile information, job posts, photos) to Connect Job, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform and providing our services.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to the use of Connect Job shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. We encourage users to attempt resolution through direct communication or our support team before pursuing legal action.
15. Legal Action
Connect Job expressly reserves the right to pursue civil or criminal legal action against any user who engages in harmful, fraudulent, illegal, abusive, or defamatory activity on or through the platform. This includes filing complaints with law enforcement, cybercrime cells, or other relevant authorities as permitted under Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments.
16. Changes to These Terms
Connect Job reserves the right to update, amend, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior individual notice. Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
