This Disclaimer governs your use of Connect Job (connectjob.in). By accessing or using this platform, you acknowledge and accept all statements, limitations, and notices set out below. Please read this page carefully before using our services.

1. Platform Role — Communication Facilitator Only

Connect Job is an online listing and communication platform designed to connect job-seeking workers with employers in the restaurant, hotel, café, cloud kitchen, and hospitality industry in India.

Connect Job does not act as an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or placement service. We do not employ any workers listed on the platform, we do not guarantee any job placements, and we are not a party to any employment agreement, contract, or arrangement made between workers and employers through or outside the platform.

Any hiring, employment, or working arrangement that takes place as a result of connections made through Connect Job is entirely between the individual worker and the employer. Connect Job bears no responsibility for the conduct, performance, or outcome of such arrangements.

2. No Guarantee of Employment or Hiring

Connect Job makes no representations or guarantees that:

  • A worker will receive job offers, interview calls, or employment of any kind
  • An employer will find suitable candidates for their vacancies within any particular timeframe
  • Any job post, worker profile, or employer profile listed on the platform is accurate, complete, or current
  • Any hiring discussion will result in a final job offer or placement

Users are solely responsible for making informed decisions about job applications, hiring, and employment arrangements. Connect Job strongly encourages both workers and employers to independently verify all information before proceeding with any hiring decision.

3. No Liability for Fraud, Scams, or Disputes

Connect Job provides tools for users to connect with each other, but we cannot verify the identity, intentions, or honesty of every user. We are therefore not responsible for:

  • Any fraud, cheating, scam, or deception carried out by any user on or off the platform
  • Financial losses, salary disputes, payment disagreements, or unpaid wages between employers and workers
  • Any harassment, misconduct, threats, or abusive behaviour by one user towards another
  • Any employer who rejects, cancels, or reverses a hiring decision after initial discussions or communication
  • Any worker who behaves improperly, leaves without notice, or causes damage after being hired by an employer
  • Misrepresentation of skills, qualifications, experience, or company details by any user

Users who experience fraud, scams, or safety threats must contact local law enforcement immediately. They may also report such incidents to Connect Job through our Contact Us page, and we will take appropriate platform-level action.

4. Disclaimer for Offline Agreements and Interactions

Connect Job facilitates initial contact between workers and employers through the platform. However, many hiring discussions, interviews, salary negotiations, and work agreements take place offline. Connect Job has no oversight, control, or involvement in any offline interactions, agreements, or transactions between users. We are not liable for any outcome — positive or negative — arising from offline communications or arrangements made between workers and employers.

5. Subscription and Payment Disclaimer

  • Subscription access on Connect Job is activated manually by our admin team following review and verification of UPI payment submissions.
  • Subscription activation may take 24 to 48 business hours after a valid payment submission is received. Connect Job is not liable for any missed opportunities, inconvenience, or loss incurred during this processing period.
  • Connect Job is not responsible for payment delays caused by incorrect UPI reference numbers, incomplete submissions, system outages, or bank-level processing issues.
  • All payments made to Connect Job are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including unused subscription days, wrong payments, or account suspension. Users are advised to review all payment terms carefully before making any payment.
  • Connect Job only accepts payments through the official Payments page within the platform dashboard. We do not accept payments via WhatsApp, phone, SMS, or any external channel. We are not responsible for payments made outside the official platform to individuals claiming to represent Connect Job.

6. Content Accuracy Disclaimer

All content published on Connect Job — including job posts, worker profiles, employer profiles, and platform information — is provided in good faith. However:

  • We do not independently verify or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of content submitted by users
  • Job posts, wages, availability, and skills listed may change without notice
  • Connect Job reserves the right to edit, hide, or remove any content that is found to be inaccurate, misleading, or in violation of our policies
  • Users rely on platform content at their own risk and must exercise independent judgement before acting on any information found on Connect Job

7. Platform Availability Disclaimer

Connect Job strives to maintain continuous and reliable platform access, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available service. The platform may occasionally be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, technical issues, server downtime, or events beyond our control. Connect Job is not liable for any loss, missed opportunity, or inconvenience arising from platform unavailability.

8. Third-Party Content Disclaimer

Connect Job may display links to or references to third-party websites, tools, or services. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for any content, products, services, or privacy practices of third-party platforms. Accessing third-party links is entirely at the user's own risk.

9. Content Moderation and Account Action

Connect Job reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to review, edit, remove, or block any content, profile, or account that is found to violate our Terms and Conditions, is abusive, fraudulent, illegal, or harmful to users or the platform. This includes permanently banning accounts and pursuing legal remedies against users who engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or severely abusive behaviour on the platform.

10. Legal Action Disclaimer

Connect Job expressly reserves the right to pursue legal action, including civil and criminal remedies, against any individual or entity that uses the platform for fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, or illegal purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, filing complaints under the Information Technology Act, 2000, Indian Penal Code, and other applicable Indian laws.

11. General Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Connect Job, its owners, administrators, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or in connection with your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of business, loss of data, or reputational harm. The total liability of Connect Job in any matter shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing Law

This Disclaimer, along with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of Connect Job shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
